Women career tend to have children not healthy

London - Children whose mothers work tend to have patterns of unhealthy life when compared with those whose mother was an ordinary housewife.
Maybe this is the risk of a woman who had worked family. Owned limited time, making the difficulties mothers divide their time between work and home life.
Research undertaken Institute of Child Health, London, says that children whose mothers’ works tend to have a pattern of unhealthy lives compared to those whose mother was an ordinary housewife.
Generally the children received less attention so rarely eat healthy foods and physical activities are healthy, like exercising.
Regardless of the ethnicity, educational level or job level, the research team saw eating habits and physical activity over 12,500 children, ranging from ages 9 months to five years. From the results of research, they found that children whose mothers work part time or full time tend to have an unhealthy lifestyle.
They consume fewer fruits and vegetables, either as a main menu or as a snack. Instead they prefer to drink sweet drinks and carbonated on the sidelines eating and not eating nutritious snacks.
Not only that, they also prefer to spend his time sitting in front of the television or playing computers. This is compared with those who have mothers who do not work outside the home. The mother can control and limit the time their child to watch television or play computer.
"Time constraints may limit the capacity of parents to equip their children with a healthy diet and physical activity opportunities," said Professor Catherine Law, the researchers from the Institute of Child Health.
"After adjusting to the sociodemographic characteristics, children whose mothers worked in the habit of eating something worse, spending time with continuous sitting activity compared with children whose mothers did not work," he continued.
The results of research published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, showed that 37% of children would rather eat crisps or similar snack foods sweet. As many as 41% more priority to drinking sugary drinks at meal times, and approximately 61% of children spent at least more than two hours a day watching television or playing computers.
Nevertheless, the research team suggests that the results of this research do not mean suggests that mothers do not work; it's just necessary policies and programs that support working parents. It is quoted from HealthDay News.
